A user needs to send some important information but zipped up with 256 encryption.

 

Obviously I have to pay for winzip, but does winrar with password do the same thing?

'nother +1 for 7zip, that's what I use to encrypt files when sending them outside the school.

Only gripe I have is you can still open the zip and view its contents, you just can't extract or open anything. So make sure your files are named accordingly.
