Boot Error with W8

I am having issues booting into network or a USB device with Windows 8 on. Laptop is a HP 4340s and as far as i can see everything looks fine in bios, USB and network ticked but i get the following message:

 

"an error occurred with the boot selection verify media if present and retry"

 

Any help would be great.

Hi.

Boot up in Bios (F10)

Select system Configuration

Find SecureBoot

Remove checkmark from SecureBoot

Accept

Find Boot Mode

Select Legacy

Accept

Save

 

Done
