RNDIS\Ethernet Gadget Driver

Hi Guys,

 

I have a device that requires updating via a bespoke piece of software, when i connect the device by USB it report it requires a RNDIS\Ethernet driver. After speaking with the vendor they say this is an OS issues but i cant find the drivers anywhere????

 

OS: Windows XP SP3

 

Any ideas????

Find eth device id in device manager. Will be VEN_xxxx&DEVxxxx Type that into google and you should find what you are after.

Umm, this sounds like it could be a Windows CE device in which case you would want the old mobile device manager stuff. It includes drivers for a bunch of interfaces like this.

Not sure what it is, the device in question is some sort of speed camera radar device (i suspected Windows CE\Mobile) Active Sync has been installed ont he PC as it is running windows XP but this didn't seem to resolve the issue.

 

Looking at the DeviceID this produces allot of download links for various things from Dell, HP,Toshiba Iomega etc. but nothing that seems relevant to this adaptor.
