FULL TIME IT TECHNICIAN

 

Salary: £17,907 to £19,551

 

 

 

We are seeking a suitably qualified and enthusiastic individual to provide 1st/2nd line administration and support for our servers, desktops and users. This will include:

 

· Answering telephone and face to face support calls

 

· Fault finding and troubleshooting PCs, Macs, printers and associated software

 

· Maintenance and commissioning of hardware and software

 

· Active Directory administration

 

· Server administration

 

· Email System Support

 

· Scheduled Backups

 

· Systems monitoring

 

· End user training

 

You will act as the first point of contact between users and IT services which will include late hours cover on a shift basis. You will also assist in the day to day running of all IT services to ensure quick resolution of support queries.

 

An NVQ Level 3 in ITQ or equivalent is essential for this role along with English and Maths at GCSE Level C or above being desirable.
