Hosted email options

Greetings,

 

We currently have hosted exchange email and the contract has just come up for renewal. To show vfm i need to compare it against other hosted systems. Are there any that can be recommended? Our students already use gmail, i personally cant stand the layout and cant get on with it really. Ive heard about office365, is this a solution anyone could recommend just for email alone and how does it compare with owa 2010?

As I understand it, the email provision in Office 365 is basically hosted Exchange 2013. Expect all the same features as OWA in 2010. The interface looks like Outlook.com.

At the mo for hosted, you either have Google or MSFT or 3rd party providers who provided hosted solutions on MS Exch.

 

Yes, you can use for email along and can use OWA or OLK.

If you want to compare to the host of a third-party hosted exchange look at messagestream there's is circa 3.75 a month per mailbox.
