setting up helpdesk

got hap+ 8.4 working on my vm system. I can see files as both staff/pupil fine. Trying to add the helpdesk to staff i can get the icon there but when clicked i get

error: unauthorised access

you have attempted to access a restricted resource

added "staff" (by selecting the ad group) to booking & helpdesk system

Open the ~/helpdesk/web.config and change the groups listed in there

ok removed deny * and adding staff users works but pupils can now post

deny users=pupils dosent seem to help

now i cant get to booking even as an admin lol

 

edited web on bookingsystem to just allow anyone still no joy

fresh install of 8.5 on a live server (thought id give it a go) helpdesk works as staff/admin but as staff i get

The parameter 'address' cannot be an empty string. Parameter name: address

when posting (it does post but they wouldnt know it i managed to ge the same error posted 3 times testing lol)

 

and if i try as an admin i get

Index was outside the bounds of the array.

 

again i seem to be being really dense with this so sorry

You need to make sure the AD mail parameter is filled in. HAP+ uses AD a lot.
