Setup webserver for multiple users

Hi has anybody got a nice guide how to setup a webserver for multiple users?

By multiple users how do you mean? A site for each user? or a single site which multiple users can upload to?

Hi thanks for your reply, I was thinking apache. About 50 users each hosting a site with FTP access.
