I want some suggestions on FREE opensource or paid professional Alumni Management Systems

 

What is implemented in your educational institution or what do you recommend

We use a MySQL database, with a few utility screens - data entry/query, email Alumni, etc. We don't allow self registration; that way we have control over who our registered Alumni are. You have to email the Alumni Association officer who then verifies that you were a student and adds you to the database. It took me a day to get it all written and running. Easy peasy!
