Trapper Posted November 23, 2012 Posted November 23, 2012 (edited) First time I've seen a Grade 5 IT job in Birmingham. News My wife used to go here! Edited November 23, 2012 by Trapper 1
bossman Posted November 23, 2012 Posted November 23, 2012 @Trapper: What is the significance of the Grade 5 in terms of remuneration? It has no meaning at all as a grade unless you work for the Birmingham Education Dept.
DeltaBravo Posted November 23, 2012 Posted November 23, 2012 Don't quote me but i believe it is: £31754 to £38961
Michael Posted November 23, 2012 Posted November 23, 2012 Question is, why do they need such a high grade tech if they have CC3 or CC4? Makes no sense at all. The whole point of CC3/4 is to require minimal tech support, or maybe that's just it... I've answered my question
Trapper Posted November 23, 2012 Author Posted November 23, 2012 Well it looks like a strategic role more than operational (assume seat at SLT etc.) Bit strange though. During my wife's years there (to 2000) it was a Maths teacher who tinkered with tech who was the de facto Network Manager.
