CyberNerd Posted November 21, 2012 Posted November 21, 2012 I was just having a play at the DFE school stats here: http://media.education.gov.uk/assets/files/zip/sfr092010udzip.zip (from 2010) According to my spreadsheet, there are 482257 full time equivalent teachers, 8,064390 students and 10,195 full time IT technicians (in all schools) So a national average of 1 tech for every 47 teachers and 791 students. 1
