I am the IT Technician at Saint John Bosco College and we are looking to appoint a Network Manager.

NETWORK MANAGER

£40,506 – £43,152 per annum

36 hours per week Monday to Friday with ½ hour lunch break

Required as soon as possible

 

We are a Catholic 11-18 specialist Business and Enterprise School under the Trusteeship of the Salesians of Don Bosco and the Archdiocese of Southwark

 

We are seeking to appoint an experienced Network Manager, helpdesk adviser and administrator with broad ranging knowledge of school IT support.

 

You will have previous experience in a similar management role and in a technical support capacity, as well as a computing related degree or relevant experience.

 

You will be confident in managing multiple domains, scripts, security and Active Directory issues, Exchange Server for email and be experienced supporting Microsoft XP/Windows7 systems. A knowledge of SIMs and LGfL Services is essential. The main responsibilities of this post will include hardware and software support, undertaking new ICT projects, providing IT support to staff and students and managing the IT Technician.

 

You will be a flexible, committed individual capable of adapting to changing environments and quick to learn new software and technologies. Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team are essential. A proven track record of good communication and organisational skills is essential.

 

Experience of working in a school based environment is desirable. The ability to work professionally under pressure to deadlines and operate flexibly within the changing needs of the school is essential.
