Rawns Posted November 6, 2012 Posted November 6, 2012 Anyone know where the reg key entries can be found for the 'SIMS Database'? It's displayed as installed software using our management package b ut this server no longer hosts a SIMS database so need to manually remove the reg keys flagging it as a false positive.
vikpaw Posted November 6, 2012 Posted November 6, 2012 Search for CES and SIMS in the registry and see what it finds. When you've come back to consciousness, reformat the server and start again!

vikpaw Posted November 7, 2012 Posted November 7, 2012 Doesn't the management software tell you or give you a clue. If i search for sims on the server reg from the top level i get hundreds, many of which start with CES, so also worth trying a search on that. You're going to have to click one of those flashy spammy regcleaner links Is there anything maybe a relic in add/remove programs, such as sims infrastructure or something like that.
jinnantonnixx Posted November 7, 2012 Posted November 7, 2012 Is this of any use? How to manually remove programs from the Add or Remove Programs tool
