cysklement Posted November 1, 2012 Posted November 1, 2012 Hi, I would like to setup dell wyse E02 with microsoft Windows Multipoint Server 2012 premium for a computer Lab. I would like to know if there's is additional software that i needed to purchase for them to work. Does dell wyse E02, bundled with it's own software/drivers? Do I need to purchase Dell Wyse Configuration Manager Software?
pritchardavid Posted November 1, 2012 Posted November 1, 2012 Hi Cysklement, welcome to the forums My Option here (Other will probably agree here too) You shouldn't really even be really using Mutipoint Server 2012 yet, it is in Beta at the moment. You should try using the 2011 version, at least until the new version comes out. At my guess you should be about to download the drivers and not need the software. 1
plexer Posted November 1, 2012 Posted November 1, 2012 You will only need the wyse drivers to install on to the multipoint server host. Last time I checked these weren't available from the wyse website so I hope they are included with the access devices. Ben 1
plexer Posted November 1, 2012 Posted November 1, 2012 Seems they are now available: https://appservices.wyse.com/pages/serviceandsupport/support/dlOraFW.asp?which=117&model=E%20Class(Wyse Zero Clients) Ben 1
cysklement Posted November 2, 2012 Author Posted November 2, 2012 Hi, thanks for the driver & I have downloaded them already. let's say if i had 5 wyse, do i need 5 drivers for the 5 wyse or is it a one time installation only?
netgwe Posted December 20, 2012 Posted December 20, 2012 Unfortunately, these drivers do not work with WMS 2012. Does anyone know when will be updated to WMS 2012?
plexer Posted December 20, 2012 Posted December 20, 2012 You'll have to ask Wyse that I'm afraid. Ben 1
rrecinos Posted January 11, 2013 Posted January 11, 2013 Unfortunately, these drivers do not work with WMS 2012. Does anyone know when will be updated to WMS 2012? I have used the beta driver from connect.microsoft.com, but it has an issue with the sound and station.dll using RTM version
StIgnatius Posted May 10, 2013 Posted May 10, 2013 Windows MultiPoint Server | Microsoft Connect These work for me......
