Smart Ink in Powerpoint = BSOD

I have several users who use the Smart Ink layer exclusively inside Powerpoint (10) for their lessons. They like to annotate on the board with notes during the lecture. It seems this is a surefire case for a BSOD. They are reporting a system crash everytime they attempt to use the ink.

 

The machines are Win7 with Smartnotebook 11 installed and the proper components for both Office and Notebook installed. The ink works properly, it just seems with any extended use they are getting a system crash.

 

2GB of memory and a Core2 Duo processor is what these machines are packing so I am surprised they are not beefy enough to accomplish this task.

 

Could anyone else duplicate this or is anyone else seeing this issue?
