philtomo-25 Posted June 27, 2007 Posted June 27, 2007 Hi Guys, We are having a problem with sending emails through mylgfl using the cachepilot as our Internet Explorer proxy settings Recently we have set up all the pupils accounts and logged them on in to their account etc. When they came to sending an email they seem to have a problem. They would compose the email, input email address etc and click "send", it would then just sit there sending the mail and eventually timeout (this would happen in anyones account) When we tried this with the proxy settings set to the LEA`s proxy, the email would send straight away no problem We have checked the blacklist in the cachepilot and there are no reference to ther relevant sites that need to be accessed any one have any ideas? cheers phil
Geoff Posted June 27, 2007 Posted June 27, 2007 You'd need access to the logs produced by squid running on the cachepilot to troubleshoot this. You don't have that level of access. I suggest you put a call into the Westfield centre. As a workaround, you don't need to go via a proxy to get to the LancsNGFL sites. So you can put the myLGFL in your proxy bypass list and communicate directly with the web server.
