fleXx Posted October 25, 2012 Posted October 25, 2012 Hi fellow members, We run Impero as our remote control system for the machines around the building, but we have found one problem with it. On one particular user account, there is 6+ Impero Icons showing in the system tray and only one of them needs to actually show. When you go over them with a cursor then they all disappear other than one which is meant to happen because only one is meant to be showing. Any ideas? 1
russdev Posted October 25, 2012 Posted October 25, 2012 Hi That happens if the Impero Client Service is crashing. If look on root of the C drive and see if there is a critical errors text file. However as said one user account does it follow them around if not then it is machine based more than likely otherwise more than likely something with the profile maybe corruption somewhere. If it does not follow them around Then first thing to check is .net if XP then reinstall or vista or above then follow this How to repair the .NET Framework 2.0 and 3.0 on Windows Vista - Aaron Stebner's WebLog - Site Home - MSDN Blogs. Next uninstall remove the Impero Directory and reinstall. Russ 1

fleXx Posted October 25, 2012 Author Posted October 25, 2012 Thanks for the reply russdev, I re-installed the NET framework and Impero is now working again. 1
