Dell 5110cn ghosting

Hi All,

 

Got a call today to say that the printer was duplicating images on the page. Any one any ideas.

Looks like some Cyan toner is stuck to the transfer roller or image drum. You could take it out and see if you can clean it but it may need a new one if it has been in for a fair while. Other than that as a printed piece been put through twice as that can cause toner to stick to the drum or transfer roller. If so you could try some blank prints until they come out clear and try again. Edited October 19, 2012 by ICTLTD
