LeightonJames Posted October 15, 2012 Posted October 15, 2012 Right, i'm fed up now lol. I have spent weeks researching this issue with no joy. Just recently we have started migrating all our schools over to Windows 7 Professional and Office 2010. This has all gone smoothly apart from one little hiccup. Whenever a teacher tries to open an office document over the internet (not sharepoint) e.g. http://www.primaryresources.co.uk/ict/docs/ict_levels.doc they are requested to enter their network credentials as we are behind an authenticated proxy. This is our setup: Win 7 Office 2010 IE9 Authenticated proxy Teachers have locked down profiles I have tried numerous fixes such as changing BasicAuthLevel in the registry, adding the site to trusted sites/intranet sites. Nothing seems to work. Even choosing remember credentials on the pop up. Please don't suggest using a different browser as this is not a realistic solution (6982 computers over 76 schools). Please can anyone help me with this?? I'm losing what little hair I actually have. Thanks
