ful56_uk Posted October 12, 2012 Posted October 12, 2012 Hello I can't backup my 2008r2 Dc with dpm, it backs up the files but never seems to backup the system state, do you have to do any special apart from selecting the system state?
FN-GM Posted October 12, 2012 Posted October 12, 2012 Do you have an error messages? I had the exact same problem, i install the Windows backup components but left them unconfigured and DPM started backing up with no problems.
deano Posted October 13, 2012 Posted October 13, 2012 I have had the same issue on loads of different servers. For a DC, you can edit the local config file so that you miss the BMR and just do a system state. This will then fix the issue with backing up the DC

ThatBoringBloke Posted October 15, 2012 Posted October 15, 2012 Do you have more than one DC? We had simillar issues with our 2nd DC, so I now simply only backup the 1st DC. As both of my DC's are solely DC's and nothing else this solution works for us.
ful56_uk Posted October 15, 2012 Author Posted October 15, 2012 Got the Dc backing up now, just can't get my sccm server 2012, I've just tried removing the backp feature and reinstalling the feature still no luck
