Hi All,

Since moving some of our clients over to Windows 7 there seems to be an intermittent fault where when the program is loaded it will hang for a few moments and say that the microsoft exchange cannot be accessed and would you like to retry etc.

Has anyone else experienced this since moving over to Windows 7 and or have a solution to the problem.

Windows 7 SP1

Exchange 2007

Many thanks

Need to explain in more details what the issue is and provide exact steps.

How many are effected, can you repro the issue etc...

Hi,

It is only users that have been added to Windows 7, whenever they log in and then launch Outlook it just hangs and sits there for a while then will come up with Exchange is unavailable asking you to retry or work offline, if you click retry it will then work with no problems at all.

The error is coming up every other time pretty much and we cant find a way round it at all

Could be a number of things, verify autodiscover is working and set correctly.

Run the test from the client, i.e Outlook sys tray icon. Hold Control and right click Oulook icon>Test Email....>Uncheck Guest boxes, and test
