Sibelius 7 License Control Activation via Proxy

Hi,

 

Our school purchased a Sibelius 7 network licence and im trying to activate our license but its coming back with an error about internet connectivity. My guess would be because of our proxy server. There doesnt seem to be any settings you can add to the client so has anyone managed to activate this software through their proxy server? If so how?

Not to worry, i found an online method from another PC and imported the license onto the server!

I had the same issue. For anyone else, the advice I got from Sibelius was just use the option for another internet connection and copy the url into your browser. The licence server uses port 3443 to contact it where as the browser activation operates over normal ports and gives you the licence file you need.

thats what i did Now i have the fun task of finding out how to install 35GB worth of data on the network!!
