GPO security permissions

I seem to have an issue with security permissions on GPO's how can I solve this and could it be caused by creating them from the GPMC on a new DC? Edited September 19, 2012 by nicholab

I am getting this message: The processing of Group Policy failed. Windows attempted to read the file

Make sure that 'Authenticated Users' have 'Read' permissions. If you're using security groups to filter GPOs, these groups should have 'Read' and 'Apply Group Policy'.

 

Also check your 'DFS Replication' logs under event viewer>Applications and services logs.

 

 

Try running this command on the client:

dfsutil /spcflush
