mattx Posted September 15, 2012 Posted September 15, 2012 I was handed one of these in the pub and asked to repair it however, I cannot find the location of the hard drive [ or how to get to it ] and searching on the web for step by step instructions as I think it's under the keyboard is coming up with nothing. Also I think its a SSD so can anyone quote me for a replacement ?
mattx Posted September 15, 2012 Author Posted September 15, 2012 Sok, found the instructions for removing the SSD. Now I know why I don't bother with these types of kit. Because they are carp. I don't believe what you have to do to get to the SDD so I'm not even going to bother - it's not worth my time.

Oh yes..... and once I saw what was involved I did not want to go there If I was being paid I would do it but I really can't be doing this sort of thing anymore - it bores the living pants off me.

I hand laptops off to someone else, can't stand the fiddly little things.
