Primary School Learning Platorms?

Just looking at what platforms we are likely to get and I was wondering what learning platforms Primary schools specifically use at the moment, and the big question is how much time is allocated to maintaining\adding to the content and by whom?

 

Any comments on Netmedia and Frog? These are two that have been shown to us.

We've got netmedia in our secondary and i dont like it. Far too unstable ime. Everytime i went to show the teachers how to use it it crashed, ive since given up tbh so i dont know if its improved.

I've just seen this mentioned on the TES forum. Looks very primary age specific and doesn't seem to have many features (I'd say that is a positive rather than a negative).- but the info on the website isn't very explanitory.

We will be getting Fronter, courtesy of the LA and I still don't know why (we need a VLE or this one in particular).

Lancs has an RBC hosted Moodle based solutions for schools (including primaries) if they want to use it. It's free, plus IIRC there is free training.
