Generating usernames in Excel

Hi All,

 

Hope we have an Excel expert who can help..

 

I need to redo all user accounts (long story)

 

Can anyone tell me please how i can get Cell 1 (Reg) Cell 2 (Forname) Cell 3 (Surname) to show as: (Reg)(1st initial)(surname)

 

been trying Cell1+Cell2(char(1)+Cell3 but cant seem to get it right.
