6Foot2 Posted September 6, 2012 Posted September 6, 2012 We have an excess of kettle leads [as I am sure you may have too but I am loathe to throw them away] Can anyone make use of these? I have not counted how many there are but there are a lot! [New still in bags or wire wrapped as out of box] Free to anyone who can collect or arrange collection. We are in Hertfordshire. [These are NOT the 'Y' shape leads: They are plug to single outlet] Otherwise how can we usefully employ them/donate them? A couple of years ago we gave a load to our Technology, Music and Science departments. They have not used what we gave them and do not want any more. Many thanks.
plexer Posted September 6, 2012 Posted September 6, 2012 Damn knew I should have been keeping the american leads sent with stuff. Ben
AngryTechnician Posted September 7, 2012 Posted September 7, 2012 I have about 300 of them, brand new in the baggies, and I haven't figured out what to do with mine either!
jinnantonnixx Posted September 7, 2012 Posted September 7, 2012 Car Boot sale? I did this once. You'll get 'traders' coming around and picking up your baskets of leads getting a feel for the weight of them. Tip: put some rocks in the bottom.

MrPJones Posted September 12, 2012 Posted September 12, 2012 I can offer you a box of kettle leads for 5% of your company?
VeryPC Posted September 12, 2012 Posted September 12, 2012 Thanks for the offer Peter ! But I'm Afraid I'm out - Andy
alan-d Posted September 12, 2012 Posted September 12, 2012 I can offer you a box of kettle leads for 5% of your company? Harsh!!! *Snigger*
multipoint Posted September 12, 2012 Posted September 12, 2012 Oh that's so naughty.. Good to see VeryPC have a sense of humour! But who's laughing now? VeryPC have continued to grow, won international awards and are helping the UK education sector to deliver non-toxic, safe, sustainable, learning environments; which other manufacturers are doing that?
