TonyMiles Posted August 20, 2012 Posted August 20, 2012 Hi We have 64 Asus Eee PC 1201NL netbooks which we are upgrading from XP to Win 7 Pro x86. I have Syspreped the netbook and when I go to Capture the Image is says "Capture Image... The parameter is incorrect" I have tried different capture boot wims and saving in different locations, I have added all the divers as packages into the WDS capture image and have now run out of options. Can anypne help please, as I'm starting to lose my hair!!! Thanks Tony
Duke5A Posted August 20, 2012 Posted August 20, 2012 Boot up with the capture image again and open a command prompt with Shift-F10 when it's done loading. Manually map a drive and capture by hand with imagex. Import the captured WIM into WDS and see if it takes.
SYNACK Posted August 21, 2012 Posted August 21, 2012 If using imagex manually be sure to add the /FLAGS "ENTERPRISE" or "PROFESSIONAL" depending on your edition if you ever want to use MDT.
TonyMiles Posted August 21, 2012 Author Posted August 21, 2012 Thanks for your replys, I'm not using Imagex manually. I pxe boot to wds using the capture option. Yesterday I descided to capture just a Win 7 image on a netbook and it worked. I'll try the F10 option and see how I get on.
