That's pretty good...

When I left my first job, they wrapped my car in cling film during the whole day, considering my car was parked in a secure car park monitored by lots of staff and cameras, they were all in on it including site management and control.

A crowd had gathered round my car for when I had come out, which was around 2000 people.

One of Site Control said there had been 12 car accidents, where people were looking at what was happening and not paying attention to the car which had stopped in front of them...

Lets hope you don't have worse ;)

Damn you sir & the camper you rode in on!! One of them has been sitting in the LEGO shop window in town & I have had to seriously refrain from getting one. I need to leave here!

14 years service, made redundant, bottle of cheap fizzy plonk.

Rob

Yeah - in a previous post I had done 9 years - redundant, but was part of the close down team - so by the time I left there was no one left to give me a present or even a card ;-(

That's lovely and thoughtful - clearly you're well liked :)

It's also amazing how many techies share a love for all things Lego too. When I was a kid, I remember reading a news article in The Sun or something about a bank manager who was addicted and his office was covered in Lego models and the likes. I always said to myself "When I eventually grow up and get boring, I'll do that". Never did, but at least with having kids I get to play with it again :D
