ICT Assistant (School ICT Support Service) - Southend, Essex - closes 26/7/12

Sorry about the short notice, but I just got back from leave to discover our post has been advertised and it's almost reached the closing date.

 

Anyway, the job is basically a field service engineer role, supporting multiple schools in the borough. Each day is either dedicated to supporting a specific school, or on call in case of emergencies.

 

It's fixed term for a year, but that's pretty much a formality as the role is subject to schools renewing their support contracts - never been an issue so far. It's a junior role with plenty of opportunity for advancement; the post is vacant because the previous holder was promoted...
