Can you wirelessly output from windows 8 tablet to a projector

I know that it is possible to do this with a iPad and AppleTV, is there a method similar that can be used with the new Windows 8 Tablets when they are released?

Yes depending on the projector - some of them do them over the network (with windows 7 at least). But I'm fairly sure once its more mainstream there will be the technology to do this.

Any laptop with a core i3/5/7 processor will be able to aswell if you pair them with a WiDi adapter.
