pcstru Posted July 12, 2012 Posted July 12, 2012 Anyone using interactive projectors such as Dell's S300wi or the Optoma TW610S (or anything similar). I'm looking for views on their use (ease of use, suitability for classroom (brightness etc)) or any caveats etc.
LeeBirdptinstalls Posted July 12, 2012 Posted July 12, 2012 I've only experience of the Epson 450wi range of interactive projectors. Never had any issues with them at the schools where they are installed. Nice solid, good looking, easy to use unit. Its worth a look in my honest opinion. 1

pcstru Posted July 14, 2012 Author Posted July 14, 2012 Anyone have any experience of the Smart units - the 40wi?
LeeBirdptinstalls Posted July 16, 2012 Posted July 16, 2012 smart units are notorious for overheating in my experience. All the ones I've seen generally start going wrong after 12 months. 1
Marc-Engineer Posted July 16, 2012 Posted July 16, 2012 Yes i agree with above and parts are not available long enough after production. Marc Projector Engineer 1
