ICT Consultant required for a company providing IT & Network support to Schools in the London and home counties area. Experience in heading up Projects. Strong knowledge of Network & Application software such as Microsoft SQL, MS Exchange, MS Windows 2000, 2003 and 2008, including Clustering and ADDNS/BIND. Strong Database administration. Design and implementation of resilient, secure infrastructure, i.e. Firewalls and IPSec/VPN (Preferably Checkpoint or Fortigate. Experience of Web oriented applications (e.g. IIS, Apache, Tomcat, Windows Media Server). SAN, NAS & ISCSI concepts (Preferably Network Appliance and IBM DS platform). Experience with MIS systems (SIMS, CMIS, SQL) and previous schools experience an advantage. Good background in Customer Care. Permanent. £27k - £32k per annum, plus travel scheme.
