Came across this a few months ago...

http://www.beyondlogic.org/solutions/remoteprocess/BeyondExec.htm

Allows you to install it as a service remotely, and then allows you to perform operations on the PC's it resides on. I use it to shutdown our PCs at night to save power costs.

However, I also had cause to use it yesterday to create a telnet-esqe command prompt on a remote workstation in order to hide the contents of a childs USB stick, as they had it filled with things like a portable GTA installer etc.

Of course, USB sticks aren't shared as standard..but using this remote command prompt I was able to just type "attrib +h f:\*.*". He then came in and said "I'll have to format it..it's gone faulty. It's blank, but says it's got 75mb used..".

Great fun
