The installer can be a tad pants mind, especially at night, where I assume the site is syncing the downloads - it failed to install for me until the next morning when it could finally re-establish a connection. For what it's worth, I've been running it for a few weeks, and I'm EXTREMELY impressed. I ran OpenELEC before this, and it wasn't anything like as fluid. We've been watching Grand Designs on it the last few evenings..flawless. Got the 4od, Iplayer, Catchup.tv and youtube plugins running, need to grab the 5od one at some point..
Admiral208 Posted July 10, 2012 Author Posted July 10, 2012 This is exactly what I found. I was using OpenELEC for a bit and I found it to be sluggish and not very good. I managed to download and install raspbmc last night by about 2am so didnt get much chance to set it up or download the addons but I was really impressed. It seemed quicker and much more responsive.

Got the 4od, Iplayer, Catchup.tv and youtube plugins running, need to grab the 5od one at some point.. oooo interesting! i didnt notice them (iplayer, 4od etc) on the list. will have to look later. i havent used my pi/xmbc for a few days. xbmc doesnt seem to like playing what i am watching atm (SG-1 S1) plays with sound no vid tho. i havent even bothered to mess as i just used the in built dlna client on my TV. Tuesday is my night for playing! by chance have you got scraping working with RC3. i only have it working with uPnP (DLNA), cant seem to get it working via windows shares.

RC3 is out soon, so i want to get it working, i miss showing off my toy it all its glory!
