RabbieBurns Posted July 6, 2012 Posted July 6, 2012 Our system was recently migrated from Oliver 4 to a new server and Oliver 5. They have sent the library an update that needs to be done to oliver 5 and ive never done one before. Is it fairly striaghtfoward updating oliver? Is there anything to be aware of?
localzuk Posted July 6, 2012 Posted July 6, 2012 Important thing to do with Softlink updates - read all the instructions from beginning to end before embarking upon the task! I was stung by an upgrade which had a few pages of instructions telling you what to do and then somewhere in the middle it said 'if you have X, don't do any of the prior stuff'... Kinda late. 1
