Great. Now we have two sides of a screen to clean! I just hope they don't make touch versions!

All I want from this is a wireframe overlay of the road on my windscreen so that I can see where I'm going even when the idiot driving at me doesn't dip his beams and/or it's stupidly foggy on the Lincolnshire B roads. Also so I can pretend I'm Tron.

 

Thinking about it, a clever windscreen would just display a black blob over the oncoming headlights so they didn't blind me, and possibly one to hide the sun as well.

That would go nicely with the intelligent antiglare headlights I was reading about. It uses sensors to find the position of each individual raindrop and then blocks out the light from the headlight that would hit it. This removes the glare so that the headlight effectively looks like it just cuts through the rain like its not there at all. Very cool.
