hi all

 

i had a play around with prey on my home laptop and seems pretty good but im looking for a uk based company that is similar.

 

i have over a hundred laptops and netbooks i want to protect plus 30 ipads at present and 30 ipod touches

 

has any one used anything similar or can recommed some software to cover all devices?

 

cheap is a bonus

Encryption ? True crypt will do just that! and it is free.

thanks but i musnt have explained myself correctly .

 

what i want is a peice of software that if a mobile device goes missing i can trigger an alarm on the device that locks it down so and takes photos etc and geo positioning im not too fussed about encryption as staff work on a vpn when not in the building or encrypted memory sticks..

time delays in support etc i have delt with some non 247 companys in the us before and not had a great experience ......

Have you asked Fork Ltd about their support arrangements? Because the Prey Pro they offer does sound like exactly what you need.
