Arcath Posted July 4, 2012 Posted July 4, 2012 I've had this at a couple of schools now, I've got the .net4 update in WSUS and its approved for install on everything but all the computer have decided that they don't need it and now according to WSUS its an un needed update. Is there anyway to make WSUS ignore what the clients are telling it and force .net4 out?
ajs Posted July 19, 2012 Posted July 19, 2012 If the computers have decided that they don't need it then there surely must be some reason for it. Have you tried manually installing it onto one of the stations to see what happens?
SHimmer45 Posted July 19, 2012 Posted July 19, 2012 i think if you set the date/time for when it needs to be installed by to before todays date it will roll it out. might be that it needs to be reapproved. or that the machines are not set to install non critical updates as its an additional package.
