[Frog] Cannot add a second diary component

Hi

 

I'm trying to add a second diary component to the homepage of my VLE here however in place of where this should appear I get the message "There is already a diary component in this page". If I remove the first component, the second shows as expected!! Surely there must be a way around this!?

 

They are pointing to different diary accounts, not the same one.

 

I've created a separate page for each which is then added to a nested page/User brick thinking this would get round the problem seeing as each is on a separate page initially but it's as if the main dashboard page just can't cope with this.

 

Am I presuming wrong?

Just look at what we have as we have a planners button that links to several diaries which are placed on a different tab on a page containing the tab folder brick. On each tab is a scroll frame - containing web sites and documents, this links to one page with the particular diary details.

Thanks for the reply. I'm probably missing the obvious but have added a tab folder brick and added two different diary bricks to separate tabs but this just gives the same result! You mention a planners button but I can't see a brick or widget for this anywhere!

You need to put each diary brick on a seperate page so two diaries - two pages. Then on a thirds page add the tabbed folder, on the first tab put a scroll frame, and link this to diary page 1 repeat on the second page for diary page 2. (planner button is just link to the diary page.)

Thanks for that. I also got a response from Frog support along the same lines although their workaround was to use a menu to show the diaries in a scroll frame. I was so close initially....just needed the scroll frame
