saxonuser Posted June 27, 2012 Posted June 27, 2012 Hi The Folder redirection policy can take a while. I've narrowed it down to the Start Menu and Desktop which point to a share on sysvol. Is there a method of speeding up Folder Redirection e.g. copying shortcuts to say C drive Help! thanks J.
themightymrp Posted June 27, 2012 Posted June 27, 2012 I've usually found that when redirection is slow its down to permissions errors. If you go to the Event Viewer --> Application and Service logs --> Microsoft --> Windows and look at both Folder Redirection and GroupPolicy logs, see if there is any useful information as to why it is taking so long
