F3000 Posted June 14, 2012 Posted June 14, 2012 Currently we are trying to cut down on the number of locally attached printers on Admin pcs (mainly), but have found the staff very resistant to let go of their printers! In one room alone there are 4 staff, 4 PCs and 4 Black laser printers! Trying to persuade them to have 1 Black, or even 1 Black and 1 Colour networked in the room and we have hit a brick wall, anyone got any ideas how to try and persuade them?
kmount Posted June 14, 2012 Posted June 14, 2012 In my experience doing the sums and presenting the case of why (increasing efficiency through faster speeds, more reliable, cost effective, capable devices etc) to SLT tends to have this effect inherently. It's not nice taking from people but at the end of the day if you're trying to cut down on them for a good reason (ie, as above) it is a fair argument.
newpersn Posted June 14, 2012 Posted June 14, 2012 They don't do the Toners for these no more. Cost too much to run 4. And would be better off running a single colour laser for all of you. There's my 2cents
