agarabaghi Posted May 31, 2012 Posted May 31, 2012 So we have an old .exe program that some fac staff still use. I can get it to run in DosBox, but is there a way to make a file for them to run which does all the DosBox commands and launch the simfly.exe. Basically i dont want the user to have to mount the drive and stuff... can i automate this?
synaesthesia Posted May 31, 2012 Posted May 31, 2012 You can run any number of commands in sequence automatically by editing the dosbox.conf file (put such commands right at the end). Then shortcut to the dosbox exe, bob's your uncle.
agarabaghi Posted May 31, 2012 Author Posted May 31, 2012 Ok cool. But now how can i package this up to deploy? Is there a way to build my own? or do i just copy .config file over with a cmd file and then make a short cut on the desktop?
