Is there a way to create multiple task sequences that will skip the program selection page and just install certain applications that i choose.

Basically i want the user to see:

Select Task:

Rollins Imaging -> This would prompt and allow user to select what ever they want

Crummer Imaging -> Has a set group of applications which get install and skips asking the user what to select

Loaner Imaging -> Set group of applications same as Crummer....

is this possible?

yes if say pc1 everytime its rebuilt need to be called pc1 and have apps 1/2/4/5/6 installed you can do it by setting up the database in mdt. Ive just started looking at this and so far ive managed to get it to name a pc depending on mac id and pre populate the app list

hmm... im not sure that will work for me. We hand out a bunch of lenovo laptops, but each group has the same models. T400s can be either fac staff machines, crummer machines or loaners. I was wondering if i could make it easier for the Techs by creating task sequences which contains all the programs they would need instead of letting them chose.

You can do it by pc type but if you use mac address that PC will get x every rebuild so can be very granular
