Has anyone with Google Apps domain come across the following before:

 

Share a document with someone outside the domain, i.e. a normal GMail address and tick to send the email notification

 

But the notification never arrives and the sender gets the following message:

 

Delivery to the following recipient failed permanently:

 

[email protected]

 

Technical details of permanent failure:

Google tried to deliver your message, but it was rejected by the recipient domain. We recommend contacting the other email provider for further information about the cause of this error. The error that the other server returned was: 550 550 Relaying not permitted (3.7): [email protected] (state 17).

Sounds like google is trying to send it via your email server, which doesn't permit this relaying. Who are you using for email, google or someone else?
