Here is our latest role, looking after 2 schools ICT in a federation in Sussex

 

This strategic management role requires responsibility for Network Infrastructure and related IT Service Provision to users across two education sites located in a similar location in East Sussex. The ideal candidate will have extensive education ICT support and development experience and will: undertake incident analysis and provide management information to Schools SMT, develop stakeholder engagement strategy, Develop & Implement Service Support Practices, include Continuity Planning, Best Practices, Purchasing, Supplier Management and Proactive Monitoring & Alerting. Candidates must have detailed knowledge of Microsoft technologies including, Active Directory, Virtualisation, DNS, DHCP, AV, whiteboards, educational software, MIS including either CMIS or SIMS, Windows 7 Server & Workstation OS and Exchange and SCCM.

Soft skills required include Team Leadership, Good communication skills - ability to communicate at all levels and good interpersonal skills.

It may also be desired for candidates to have knowledge in Prince 2, ITIL, FITS, MCSE, MCP.
