Clickview Digital Video Recorder: What codec do you use?

Hi guys,

 

I'm trying to import a video but the Clickview DVR does not run nicely with .mp4 files. What converter/file format do you use? (Preferably free)

I use this to convert files before putting into clickview - Free Video Converter - Any Video Converter Freeware, freely convert video to iPhone, iPad, Android, Html5 formats

I use the free Microsoft Expression Encoder, its quick and chucks it into WMV format which is what it uses nativly anyway. As a plus it is really easy to use and quite quick in comparison to some of the other converters I have tried.

You can extract it into MSIs and push it out via GPO too and it also includes a screen and video capture program which is great for tutorial videos up to 10 min long.
