Colditzz Posted June 1, 2007 Posted June 1, 2007 You should see three boxes, Usernam Password & Host (I think) by default it is selected to local host, if it is not, either type in localhost or gold. if they do not work, start - run - cmd [OK] type ECHO %COMPUTERNAME% [ENTER] Type the provided nae into the box.
t_guest Posted June 1, 2007 Author Posted June 1, 2007 i get this error now There was a problem connecting: Cannot connect to host localhost: No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it
Colditzz Posted June 1, 2007 Posted June 1, 2007 Check your firewall settings (even though this shouldn't be an issue locally)
t_guest Posted June 1, 2007 Author Posted June 1, 2007 There was a problem connecting: Host address lookup for server gold\callumtuckey failed: The requested name is valid and was found in the database, but it does not have the correct associated data being resolved for
Colditzz Posted June 1, 2007 Posted June 1, 2007 server gold\callumtuckey That is a username entry, not a host name entry
t_guest Posted June 1, 2007 Author Posted June 1, 2007 it keeps saying because the target machine actively refused it
