Phew, what a mouthful :-)

Ok, hopefully the title explains what I'm looking to achieve?

Essentially, the little darlings are storing inappropriate material within password protected files.....anyone got any advice on how I can prevent from doing this?

Given that on one of the ICT courses they are taught how to password protect a document, removing the ability to do this isn't an option (even if it is possible), so I guess I need to find a way of preventing files that have been password protected being saved to a specific area on the network (I guess using File Server Resource Manager, but I've not found a way as yet).

Hope this makes sense.

The problem is the amount of different password protected files, zips etc

Unless it's an older version of word etc that's easily crack able.

Might be worth taking a look at your AV, a lot have option to block password protected items (designed for emails) but should do the trick to?
