need help finding a driver

not really sure if this is should be in Hardware or here but anyway..

 

Ive got a laptop with an Atheros AR5B97 wifi card and in windows 7 the driver is rubbish. Drops out all the time, doesnt wake up after sleep, etc.

 

In windows 8 it is flawless. The driver in w8 is 3.0.0.119 and im trying to find this driver to try with out w7 machines.

 

ive spent a while trawling google and found a custom whq driver which works, and works better than the proper atheros w7 driver, but id like to use the proper one if i can find it.

Atheros Windows 7 drivers are pretty good in my experience, but here's the latest driver dated March 2012.
