andyturpie Posted April 27, 2012 Posted April 27, 2012 We installed new Hitachi projectors a couple of weeks ago and I am monitoring their usage over the network. One or two however the lamp life seems to have ramped ahead >100 hours compared to 30 ish. I am wondering if theres a chance something on the network which is somehow sending a magic packet and waking them up? We are on a cc3 network and the IP addresses are given by DHCP and are in the same range as the workstations, could there be an instance where there has been an address release that a projector has picked up and the RMMC is starting it up with the restart command???? Bizzare lol!
Marc-Engineer Posted April 27, 2012 Posted April 27, 2012 Just check it daily if it seems out then disconnect lAN and check over sevral day again. Marc Projector Engineer
